Steve Filosa

Senior Managing Director

Steve Filosa is a Senior Managing Director at Morning Axe Management (and its parent company, Morning Calm Management) where he oversees all accounting and finance functions.  He previously was the Executive Vice President of Accounting for a privately held real estate investment and management company for eight years, where he handled all aspects of financial accounting, reporting and tax preparation. Prior to that position, Mr. Filosa was a Director of Development Accounting at The Cordish Companies, where he worked on the $700 million Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino development in Tampa and Hollywood.  He was also a Project Controller at the Related Companies, a leading real estate investment and development firm, where he was involved in the development of City Place in downtown West Palm Beach, a $300 million mixed-used project.

Mr. Filosa graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
